Shanti is one of the new member of our recently opened Daya Girls Home. Shanti belonged to a poor family. Her parents had responsibilities of earning sufficient money for her family, but she is unfortunate because she has lost both of her parents. Her father died before she was born, and her mother passed away when Shanti was three months old. A Practical Way to Help us Serve over 1,000 Children who are the poorest of the poor in the World who are a part of ServLife
That is right! 1,000 children are connected and could be considered “ServLife kids” The list includes children who are sponsored, children of indigenous staff, children of reginal leaders, children who attend the ServLife school in India. We need your help and get your family involved or your small group!

Protein powder (Can be for adults as small quantities are used to put in glasses of milk)

Texas Pastor Dr. Phil Lineberger Shares about ServLife
“After Joel Vestal spoke in our Church our people were convinced that Servlife would be one of our best opportunities to impact indigenous peoples with the grace and love of Jesus Christ. Servlife meets people where they are but doesn’t leave them there. We are grateful to support this ministry.” Read the rest of this entry »

D. Michael Lindsay, Leading Author & Sociologist at Rice Endorses ServLife
“ServLife is restoring hope around the globe in creative and collaborative ways. We need a lot more of this, especially as our world becomes increasingly polarized—politically, economically, and socially. The great thing about ServLife is that it works directly with indigenous peoples as partners in the Gospel and in meeting the needs of the poor and protecting the vulnerable. I encourage you to jump in and get involved.”
A Movement of PEACE is Needed in the World. It can Start with You!
(Reflections by Joel Vestal)
I have been asking myself in recent days from following so many complicated global issues, is it possible for the church of Jesus (that is you and me) to rise above partisan politics, theological differences, relational divisions, and economic/ethnic divide and be an instrument of peace in an ever increasing hostile world? I believe it is. America is divided politically as well as most regions of the world. We as the church should involve ourselves in the public square; however, we as image bearers of the most high God have more power within us than any military or commander in chief in the world to rattle the halls of hell and move the heart of God to awaken his people to action (Rom 8:11). Indeed, there is great power waiting to be unleashed among us to see peace in the world come through the church of Jesus Christ, that is you and me. Read the rest of this entry »

ServLife Seeks to Build Bridges of Hope in Afghanistan
A new staff member of ServLife is seeking to sustain, nurture, and grow hope in the nation of Afghanistan. Eddy comes from Texas but is seeking to build bridges to the oppressed and forgotten in Afghanistan through teaching English and computer and by promoting and educating about pregnancy health in a region where too many girls get pregnant too young — and then die from it. He will be working with a team that has been doing holisitic work in the region and supporting the very small indigenous Christian population for several years. Despite political instability and Taliban activity, the good news of the Gospel is what will bring peace to a very fractured nation for decades. Read the rest of this entry »
