Philip is from the Indian state of Orissa. He comes from a Hindu family and has been disowned by his family for becoming a Christian and coming to the ServLife India Training Institute. He is married to the woman who brought him to Christ and they have one daughter. His vision for his ministry is working among hostile Hindu men and women. He is planting a church in Damsiide—a place where Hindu’s are known for their hatred towards Christians. cpgroup888.jpgAshish Lama.jpgSponsoring an indigenous missionary worker through ServLife is an effective way to see God’s love made known in some of the darkest corners of the globe. For only $25 every month you can help share Christ through sponsoring a local missionary. ServLife’s approach is one that is driven by relationship. We believe that out of a result of a relationship with God through Christ, we should be compelled to serve and give of our means to those in the world that are marginalized and oppressed. ServLife desires to be a relationship broker for you, your family, or church group. We have an amazing resource of laborers throughout the world that are both demonstrating and proclaiming the love of Jesus to their own people. We believe the most fruitful means of world evangelization is working with and through the indigenous church that is present and loving their own people. We will send you a photograph and biography information on the person you are sponsoring and specific prayer requests. These workers need sponsors TODAY!  Will you sponsor them?

 Gopal  Philip
Gopal comes from a Hindu family. When he was 12 years old his mother had a stomach tumor, and as a last effort to save her they visited a pastor. His mother became well, and his whole family accepted Jesus Christ. The church was nearly two hours away, but they made the commute for one year, before his mother started a church in their home town. Gopal plans to return to Bijapur, very near his home town, to work among Hindu militants. He says these people have never heard about Christ, and he burns with desire to preach the Good News to them.
